1991
  • Foundation of the FELIX Company

1995
  • Grand opening of the Company’s first furniture showroom in Moscow

1996
  • Formation of a trading-warehouse infrastructure. Opening of the Company’s own warehouse

1997
  • Launching the production of non-standard furniture and sliding-door wardrobes “Europe”
  • Initial development of the dealer network among cities of Russia

1999
  • The Company’s own office furniture factory opens in Podolsk
  • Output of first furniture sets

2000
  • Establishment of the Company’s service department
  • The FELIX Company joined the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation

According to the information provided by the Russian Center for Public Opinion Research, “Felix” Company became the first supplier and one of the leaders in the Russian office furniture market.


2001
  • The second furniture factory of the FELIX Company opens in Kozhukhovo Township (Moscow). The factory is equipped with the most advanced (partially exclusive) equipment produced by BIESSE-S.p.A. (Italy) and IMA (Germany)
  • The Company was awarded with a right to label the products with Golden Certification Mark
  • Initial development of regional commercial franchising-based network. The first franchising showroom has been opened in the city of Lipetsk

2002 
  • The Company’s factories complete the process of ISO quality management certification in terms of furniture design, development, engineering, manufacture, assembly and service.
  • A new line of production – hotel furniture – was launched

2003
  • The FELIX Company purchases a woodworking factory in Zharkovsky district, Tver oblast (factory’s territory is 24 ha; production and storage space is 35 000 sq.m.)
  • A new line of production – household furniture – has been launched

By the estimations made by CSIL (the Milan Furniture Industry Institute), FELIX Company was declared to an absolute leader (50% of total sales) of the Moscow office furniture market and, according to the results of monitoring by the Institute of Comparative Social Studies (ICSS), to be the best service provider (92,2 points out of 100) among well-known trade-marks in the capital.


2004
  • Trade delegates of the Company have been opened in Germany (Berlin) and in the United Arab Emirates (Dzhebel-Ali free economic zone)
  • The first set of veneered furniture has been put on sale
  • Office furniture manufacture has been launched in the Zharkovsky woodworking factory

The Company’s range of products includes 23 home-made sets of furniture. The aggregate output was over 50 000 units a month. According to the results of the research conducted by Pro-Invest Consulting jointly with Expert PA rating agency, FELIX Company’s share in the Russian office furniture sales was 24%.


2005
  • FELIX Company is the only one among Russian furniture manufacturers to be admitted to BUREAU FORUM 2000 German Trade Union of Office Furniture Producers and Suppliers
  • FELIX becomes an official UN supplier.
  • United Furniture Company, a major furniture distributor, becomes an official dealer of the FELIX Company in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Two more dealers, Ferrocom (Austria) and Puff (Germany), begin selling FELIX furniture in Europe

2006
  • The Company realizes the enhancement of veneer workshop of Wood Complex “Zharkovsky”
  • The FELIX Company has started manufacture of furniture for educational and pre-school establishments
According to the expert’s estimates of Russian news agency “The Russian business Consulting”, “Felix” Company occupied 40% of office furniture segment from DSP, MDF and wood.

2007
  • After putting a model with wood massif elements and decorative elements from genuine leather into production (furniture set “Versal”), the FELIX Company has start opening up premium-class furniture segments. In spite of the fact that foreign producers are traditionally strong in this segment.
  • The first FELIX salon opens in Astana (Kazakhstan)
  • DOK “Zharkovsky” starts producing latoflex

2008

As for today, the FELIX Company is the only brand of the national level on the Russian market of office furniture – the share of the FELIX Company equals 28% in the general office furniture sales volume in RF and 40% in the segment of office furniture from WCB, MDF, and wood. FELIX recognized as the winner in “BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS” Category of the “EFFIE 2007” Competition. The most successful projects in the field of building a brand on the Russian market are estimated during the Competition.

There are more than 100 000 items of office and hotel furniture, and accessories from more than 70 leading foreign and native manufacturers in the Company’s assortment. The production volume is more than 153 000 items per month. There are more than 37 furniture collections in the multiple outputs. More than 15 000 hotel rooms in more than 50 regions of Russia and CIS countries are equipped with the company’s furniture. More than 65 brand showrooms in the largest cities in Russia, 2 showrooms in Kazakhstan, 1 showroom in Ukraine and more than 450 dealers in the RF and near-abroad countries represent the trade net of the FELIX Company.
